Building a New Government

Federal workers are selected on merit, sworn to uphold the Constitution, and trained to make government work for all Americans. For generations, that standard meant the institutions of the United States were the best in the world. That standard has rusted.

We believe federal and state government work better when more of its members have actually done the work of government. So we spotlight candidates who have: people who earned their expertise in federal service and are now asking for your vote.

We are not associated with any of these campaigns.

We are here to inform, so voters can decide.

What We Do

We research and publish independent, factual profiles of congressional candidates with federal service backgrounds. We use publicly available sources to check their agencies, their records, their districts, and dive into why they are running.

While profiles are independently written and edited by FWUCS, candidates may submit factual information for our consideration, but do not control or approve the final profile.

Why Federal Experience Matters

Federal workers earned their jobs through merit selection and commitment to public service. They kept their jobs by doing the work — auditing federal spending, developing new systems to keep Americans safe, building roads and expanding the grid, protecting our markets.
