Federal Workers Understand Good Governance
Governing is not the same as winning elections or passing legislation. It means translating public goals into laws, programs, and services that actually work for people.
Federal workers understand how statutes, appropriations, regulations, oversight, procurement, data, and day-to-day administration fit together. They have seen why some policies succeed, why others fail, and how decisions made in Congress affect people far beyond Washington.
They also understand subsidiarity: the principle that decisions should be made as close as possible to the people affected, at the lowest level capable of addressing the problem effectively. That does not mean the federal government should always step back. Local governments know their communities; states can coordinate across localities; and the federal government must protect constitutional rights, establish national standards, address problems that cross state lines, and provide resources and capacity that communities cannot supply alone.
Candidates with federal service experience can ask better questions, identify unrealistic promises, anticipate unintended consequences, and distinguish meaningful reform from indiscriminate destruction. They understand that public institutions are not abstractions. They are the systems Americans rely on for health, safety, opportunity, justice, and economic security.
That practical knowledge is a governing advantage. We need elected officials who understand not only what government should accomplish, but who should act, how the work gets done, and how to make every level of government accountable to the people it serves.
Federal Oversight and Accountability Platform
FWUCS developed the Federal Oversight and Accountability Platform because sometimes your government gets so messed up it takes a bunch of FWUCS to clean it out with FOAP!
This policy platform was drafted by federal workers across the Executive Branch and represents a shared vision for partnership between Congress and the federal workforce. Through this partnership, federal workers will help Congress fulfill its oversight responsibilities, protect its Constitutional powers, and ensure the Executive Branch delivers for the public good as Congress intended. Federal workers will provide insight into developments at federal agencies that require Congressional attention, offer technical expertise to inform legislation, and share strategies borne from lessons learned on the ground to help preserve the legislative and budgetary rights and responsibilities established by the Constitution.
Federal Workers Have an Oath of Office to Protect the Constitution for Enemies Foriegn and Domestic
FWUCS are Americans who take a similar Oath of Office that the President takes.
FWUCS have been personally impacted by the Trump Administration’s work to “put [Federal Workers] in trauma” and are ready to get the truth out to the American people and the corruption out of Washington.
Proven Courage under Pressure
It has been a difficult time to be a Federal Worker and most of the FWUCS were part of Trump’s attack on Federal Workers. This has interrupted careers and families significantly. FWUCS are the few former Feds who took the Trump hits and decided to hit back. FWUCS will always stay the line in protection of our Constitution.
